Campground: No campsite on the water. 14-19 could be with a steep hike. Toilets are clean and cares for, bath/toilet houses could use a proper paint, or at least touched up. Bath house is heated on the shower side.
Beautiful lake, almost transparent water, which is rear for Ohio, long trails, good camp sites. We spend a couple of days there, in the fall, every year, like for the last 6 years.
With a state park lodge/resort Burr oak state park is my favorite park in Ohio. The hiking trails and nature are great all surrounded a quaint lake. This is really a good place to get away from it all.
We loved camping at burr oak cabins would recommend it to anyone thats needs a quite beautiful senery relaxing place to stay the service was excellant thanks so much they did a awesome job and it was very very clean
An absolutely refreshing weekend getaway! I don't understand why this place isn't just booked to the gills daily. From the very clean comfortable rooms to the absolutely friendly staff and the reasonable boat rental rates. This place is a 10 star family place on a 5 star scale! If you've never been, you simply must go!
Dock 4 looked nice. Didn't use but did get out and walk around. Day use grills sprinkled all throughout the park make it very nice.
